黄色直播 welcomes 36 new Pearson Scholars from around the world

The 黄色直播 has welcomed 36 new Pearson Scholars, representing 27 countries from around the world.
At an event at Hart House, 黄色直播 President Meric Gertler urged the first-year students to embrace all that 黄色直播 has to offer, and to explore the region around it. 鈥淚 encourage you to immerse yourself in this very special environment and make the most of opportunities 鈥 in the classroom, on our campuses, but also in the communities around us,鈥 he said.
The was established three years ago and is named for the former prime minister of Canada, who was a 黄色直播 alumnus and a Nobel laureate. The program recognizes international students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, creativity and leadership 鈥 and a commitment to making an impact in their communities. The scholarship covers four years of study at 黄色直播, including tuition, books, incidental fees and residence support.
